Preseason Top 25 in College Football, Postseason Top 125 on the PGA Tour

It was another busy weekend in the sports world. Baseball races continue to heat up all over the country, and we all know that I’ll be covering that at length as the playoffs get closer. But for today’s purposes, I’ll focus in on two lists that had some buzz on Sunday.

The Associated Press released its preseason poll on Sunday, and for the first time in history, there was a unanimous number one. Find out who that was, as well as the rest of the top 25, in the link below. There’s also two different voting options for you.

The Chicago Cubs and the MLB Postseason

It’s been a busy day of writing for me as I’m still going through a load of options, but I did take time to write a couple of articles for HubPages. I went with a baseball theme today as I tackled the release of the MLB Postseason schedule, which would put Games 5, 6, & 7 of the World Series in November. Not a fan. In this one, you can vote on whether or not you agree with me.

Just a few moments ago, I finished up a piece about the Chicago Cubs and their postseason aspirations. I ask the question of whether or not they can bypass the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates to win the National League Central. It’s a long shot, but it’s baseball and it’s the Cubs. You never know what could happen. There’s two votes at the end of this one. Check it out below.

Jason Day wins PGA Championship, Jordan Spieth takes over world No. 1 ranking

What a beautiful scene it was yesterday at the PGA Championship as Jason Day finally broke through to win his first major championship. Also part of this historic weekend was Jordan Spieth taking over the top spot in the Official World Golf Rankings and Tiger Woods missing yet another cut. Check out the following two articles I’ve written that cover all of these topics. The Tiger article even lets you vote on whether or not he’ll ever win again. You can also follow me on HubPages once you click on either link. Enjoy.
