Golf

I’ve been told in the past that I don’t talk about many things, sports or otherwise, as passionately as I do about golf.

While I’d watched some growing up, it wasn’t until Tiger Woods hit the scene that I took an in-depth interest in the sport. Simply put, I was enthralled as I began to follow the game on a weekly basis. And once I began to study its history, I just couldn’t get enough. Still can’t.

Watching golf certainly isn’t for everyone. But watching the final round of a big tournament, especially The Masters, which is pretty much my favorite sporting event of the year (even more so than the Super Bowl) is crazy exciting for someone like me. I’m also not a bad player myself and currently hold a single-digit handicap.
