Basketball

Basketball has long been one of my favorite sports. While baseball was my first love as a youngster, I gravitated toward basketball as the years went along. If I had time to play or watch as my teenage years rolled around, that’s what I was doing.

It certainly didn’t hurt that I grew up in a great era, that being the one that featured Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and, of course, Michael Jordan — among others. The NBA was must-see television back then and college basketball wasn’t far behind in terms of entertainment, at least for me.

In the years since, I’ve been fortunate enough to witness some of the greatest careers of all time, specifically those of talents such as Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and LeBron James. And while the game may have changed over the last couple of decades, my love for basketball certainly hasn’t.

Click on the links below to read my basketball pieces from 2021.
